Configuration
Let's open Snippety first (by default: ⌘ + Shift + Space
). You can also click
on the app icon in the menu bar.
Accessibility Permission
Snippety requires accessibility permission to work correctly. When you use a snippet for the first time, it will ask you to enable the permission.
If you see the following message, you need to grant the permission:
You can also enable the permission from this screen if you have dismissed the message:
- Open the app settings by clicking on the gear icon below the snippet list.
- Click on the
Snippet Expander
tab. - Click on the
Troubleshooting
section. - Click on the
Grant accessibility permission
button. - The
System Preferences
app will open. Depending on your macOS version, you may need to manually navigate to theAccessibility
section and add the app by using the+
button (the app is located in the/Applications
folder). - After adding the app, make sure the checkbox next to the app name is checked.
That's it! The permission should be detected by Snippety within a few seconds.
