From The App

This is the basic way to use snippets. You can just open the app by using the hotkey (by default CMD + Shift + Space), find your snippet, and press Enter to expand it. Alternatively, you can double-click on the snippet to expand it.

The benefit of using this approach is that you can see all your snippets in one place and easily find the one you need, seeing the preview of the snippet. You don't have to remember its name or keyword.

Alternative Mode Shortcut

The CMD + Enter shortcut triggers the alternative mode. If you set "Paste to Application" as the default mode, the CMD + Enter shortcut will expand the snippet to the clipboard. Otherwise, it will paste the snippet directly to the app.

It might be useful if you mainly use one mode, but from time to time you need to use the other one. You can set the default mode in App Settings -> Behaviors and use the CMD + Enter shortcut to switch between them.
