Appearance Settings

Snippety allows you to customize the appearance of the app to your liking. Below you can see the available options and additional information about them.

Style

Settings

In the Style settings, you can adjust the following options:

  • Syntax Highlighting: You can disable syntax highlighting in the snippet editor. This is useful if you encounter some performance issues with large snippets.
  • Keywords: You can decide to show or hide the keywords on the snippets list. If disabled, the snippet syntax will be displayed instead of the keywords.
  • Font: The font used to display the snippet template.
  • App Icon: You can decide where to display the app icon. You can choose between Menu Bar & Dock, Menu Bar, or Dock.
  • Appearance: The appearance of the app. You can choose between light, dark, or system default.
  • Theme: The theme of the app. You can choose from a list of built-in themes or create your own.

Placement

In the Placement settings, you can decide where to display the main window of the app.

Explanation of the options:

  • Active Window: Refers to the focused window.
  • Active Screen: Refers to the screen with the focused window.
  • Remembered Location: Refers to the last location of the app window. If you move the window to a different location, the app will remember it and open in that location next time. The location is remembered for each screen.
